In Aussie slang "Chuck a uey" means "Do a u-turn" but Text-to-Speech doesn't pronounce it correctly. So we rewrote (and rewrote) the prompt until it did. Every word of copy was written like this, with countless variations of spelling, grammar and punctuation.
If that wasn’t enough copy craft, each conversation flow was also written for A/B testing to learn more about voice-driven eCommerce (still an emerging tech trend in Australia). Here's a snippet of the experience:
